Anodizing involves applying an oxide layer using the electrolytic method. This is done in accordance with the VMRG quality requirements and recommendations or the applicable Qualanod or G.S.B. regulations and is mainly applied in a clear (natural) finish. A standard layer thickness of 20 microns is applied. In aggressive environments such as industrial areas and at the seaside we recommend 25 microns.
A limited number of colours are also possible. Colour anodization is carried out on the basis of limit samples. Possible colour differences should be taken into account for both colour and clear versions. A wide range of anodized roof edges is available from stock.
